Clear system boundaries
Assessment data and commercial metadata serve different purposes.
RedTalon is self-hosted for assessment work. Your deployment, your selected AI connection and RedSec's separate licensing services each have a distinct role.

Assessment records stay in your RedTalon environment.
Targets, prompts, evidence, artifacts and findings are stored in the customer's RedTalon deployment. They are not sent to RedSec through the commercial licensing service.
02
Your AI configuration determines model data flow.
The customer-selected AI provider or compatible private endpoint receives assessment context according to the customer's own configuration, provider terms and deployment choices. RedTalon supplies the operating environment; customers choose and provide the AI access.
03
Licensing services process the metadata needed to operate access.
RedSec's separate commercial services process account, licence, entitlement, installed-instance and version, run-authorisation, release and download, and security metadata required to operate the subscription and distribute RedTalon.
